Meet Maisie! Thirteen-year-old Maisie has been tak Meet Maisie! Thirteen-year-old Maisie has been taking piano lessons with Universal Music Center since 2018 with instructor Susan Forsythe. In a few short years, Maisie has gone from beginner student to working pianist who recently played her first wedding event, and regularly accompanies the youth worship team and Sunday morning services at her church Music has positively impacted Maisie’s life, and the lessons she has learned go far beyond the notes. “She has learned perseverance when it’s hard or frustrating. She’s learned patience. She’s learned that hard work does pay off,” said her mom, Jenny. Maisie's youth worship leader Janie described her as "confident, passionate, graceful, eager, mature, and leader." Ethan and his musical partner, wife Cara, recently relocated to Red Wing. Since the age of seven, Ethan has achieved a wide breadth of national touring, songwriting, music and video production and recording experience. "In my 30 years on stage, I have learned the ropes through trial, tribulation, and success,” he says. “I am excited to plant new roots and spread my love for music at UMC." So glad you here, Ethan!
